Serving as the Galeota base of energy giant BP LLC, this sprawling, three-storey building is located within BP’s Galeota compound. The design takes advantage of breathtaking sea views, pivoting around a central atrium that runs the entire length of the space. However, what makes the site beautiful also presented its greatest challenge—creating a building that would stand the test in an exposed, hostile environment. Minimalist in nature, the building perfectly suits the ruggedly beautiful landscape surrounding it.
